-Continuous monitoring and management will be further expandedSurajpur:-- In today's meeting to prevent accidents due to animals on the roads and for effective management of nomadic animals on the roads, this topic was discussed in detail. Collector Mr. Sanjay Aggarwal told the concerned officers present to make arrangements in a planned manner for marking and continuous monitoring of roads caused by accidents due to animals in the district. He said that there is a need to further expand the working capacity to prevent accidents caused by animals. For this, there is a need to involve the general public along with giving advice to the cattle rearers. He directed the concerned officers to mark the catchment areas of animals on the roads in villages and urban areas, the number of pet and stray animals coming on the roads village and city wise, mapping of cow sheds, Gauthans and Kanji houses for keeping the animals, mapping of animals on the roads. Arrangements for removal from the roads, number of animals removed from the identified roads, capacity fulfillment status of the concerned Gauthan, Gaushala and Kanji House, status of fines and recovery and animal auction, efforts and action plan for behavior change of animal owners in the identified villages and urban areas, All the concerned officers have to work on a war footing by continuously reviewing the system of complaints and redressal related to animals coming on the marked roads and the government system of monitoring animal trespassing.
